“Positivity always wins. Always!!”

Negative thinking acts as a rope tied to you and it will disallow you from accomplishing goals and blocks you from moving forward in life, let it be learning something new, growing or obtaining something you wanted. In the same way, negative thinking can hold a student from reaching its true potential.

Teachers play an important role in spreading positivity in the classroom. Positive thinking promotes motivation and self- confidence which encourages the student to learn more and more.
There are a few things that in best school teachers do to maintain a positive mindset in the classroom.

Be positively contagious
Emotions are indeed contagious. Warm smiles and encouragement can infect people. When a student sees a teacher with positivity attitude, even the student tries to become positive. Sometimes positivity influences the success rate of any goal. For a student best role model teacher would when a teacher who believes in the student and gives positive feedback.

Creating a positive learning space
When I think about a positive educator, my science teacher comes to mind. Whenever she entered the classroom, she entered with a big smile and positivity and that made us interested in the subject. She had created such a positive space where could discuss and ask questions which made us learn effortlessly. Creating a positive learning environment encourages students to learn more about the topic.

Help your students change the negative thinking pattern
One of the effective ways that a teacher can do to change negative thinking pattern is that whenever they hear student says something negative teachers have just change it with positive thoughts. The more you do this the more positive the student thoughts, words and actions will be.

Practicing positive affirmations
Classroom affirmations are used to create positive and supportive by teaching students to be supportive of one another.Postive affirmation can be a powerful tool. They are self boosters, anxiety reducers and also boost their morale. Practicing positive affirmations can really help students who have low confidence.

Positive Peer pressure
Peer Pressure is when peers influence doing something. It can be good or bad. Positive Peer Pressure is when peer influences them to do more than ability so that they grow and reach their goal faster. It can encourage students to do well in school.
